How do I Continue Call Out if I have Manual Approval Engaged?

This article only applies to customers who have created groups and adjusted the shift distribution rules to prevent team members from accessing a call out shift unless manually triggered. To access instructions on how to create or edit shift distribution rules click here

If you have have engaged manual approval as part of your shift call out rules you will now see a Continue Call Out button on shift cards (for positions that include the manual approval to continue call out). There are several ways to Continue Call Out on a shift, the process is outlined (by page/module) below

Continue Call Out on the Dashboard

1. Begin by navigating to the Dashboard

2. Click on Filters and select Call Out Paused under the Call Out Status option.

3. To proceed (to the group(s) of team members following the manual approval) click Continue Call Out.

4.  Click Confirm to continue the call out to the next group of team members.

5. The Continue Call Out button will no longer be visible on the shift and your next group of  team members will be notified of the shift.

Continue Call Out on Shifts Module

1. Navigate to the Shifts page/module

2. Click on Filters and select Call Out Paused under the Call Out Status option.

3. Click on the date (calendar view) and/or shift you would like to continue the call out on.

4. To proceed (to the group(s) of team members following the manual approval) click Continue Call Out.

5. Click Confirm to continue the call out to the next group of team members.

Note: Review shift distribution rules for wait times/manual push exceptions (e.g. "*Wait times do not apply to shifts created within 24 hours of the shift start time.").
