Location Permissions & Clock In, Clock Out

Whether you are a IPhone or Andriod User, you will now be required to turn on your location permissions both globally on your phone as well as within the BookJane app in order to successfully Clock-In and Clock-Out for your shifts. 

 

Turn On Location Permissions

     1. When your shift is set to begin, you will be prompted to Clock In

     2. When you click on Clock In if your location services are turned off you will be required to allow                BookJane to access your location while using the app. 

          If your global location permissions are turned off you will see the following message:

          You must enable location services on your mobile phone to Clock In and Out of your shifts on the BookJane App. Once you have turned location services on globally on your phone you will be able to allow BookJane to access your location while you are using the app.

   3.  Once your location services are turned on you will be able to clock in for your shift. If you are 100 meters or less from your shift's location your clock-in will be successful.

       If you are more than 100m away from the shift address you will see the following:

   4. When your shift is complete you will be prompted to Clock Out

          If you are onsite when you Clock Out you will be successfully clocked out

          If you attempt to Clock Out offsite you will see the following message:

          If you click Clock Out Anyway you will receive the successful clock in and clock out message                  (above).
